Madeon – Icarus

By: Forward Musiq
EDM wonder-kid Madeon has finally released his first single, Icarus through his own label, Popcultur. Icarus is just pure genius packed into one song. The young french artist has managed to create an epic, groovy song based on heavy rhythms that don’t stray into dark sounds, but rather thrive into the more happy tones. The song was released through Beatport and iTunes and includes both a radio edit and an extended mix.

Karmin – Broken Hearted (R3hab Remix) (Radio Edit)

By: Forward Musiq
In only eight days, R3hab has released three big room House hits, among them Adrian Lux’s “Fire” and Labrinth’s “Last Time”. Earlier today, rising Dutch DJ Falid el Ghoul released a borderline Progressive House remix of Karmin’s “Broken Hearted” song. Following the tradition of the “Fire” and “Last Time” remixes, R3hab showcases a new creative flow with heavier electro baselines that transforms into a very bouncy (for lack of a better word) drop with enjoyable high-pitched, light synths. Credit where credit is due, R3hab shows a lot of versatility in this remix. It’s no surprise how in under 2 years he’s managed to play at enormous festivals and famous clubs all over the world. Stay tuned for the official release of the track.
